It was amazing to spend some family time away from the daily grind, but now I’m going to pay for it with lots of catching up over the next few weeks! Since it will probably be a little while before...  When my Grandma died this past August, it was a unique experience for many reasons… I’ve dealt with grandparents passing before, but this time it was much more real. This time I watched as an adult as my mom lost her mama, as my extended family mourned its matriarch, and as a woman faded away...
