Normal

It’s been over a month since I’ve posted new pictures of the kids… so prepare yourself. ;) I can’t believe it’s been that long! What’s so fantastic about that is that it’s proof that my life is getting back to normal. Amidst the moments when I pick up the camera for random snapshots of Emma and Noah, I’ve been organizing, cleaning, potty training (Today is day 5!), and getting back to the craziness that I know and love. What’s even more fantastic is that I’m now able to tackle the craziness with more energy than I can remember having since mid-2006. I am absolutely overflowing with hope and my outlook on the future is so much brighter now than it’s ever been. It’s so encouraging to wake up in the morning knowing that I’ll be able to tackle whatever the day brings. And with two little kids, what else can you ask for? :)

Emma was showing off her pink nails in this shot. :)

One of my favorites. I have no idea why she holds her hands like that when she smiles for the camera. :)

After a couple pictures of Emma, Noah wanted in on the cheese.

Emma + markers = this.

Some friends of ours just had a little boy about a month ago and I snagged this shot at our last get together! He’s so cute!

Their other little boy – adorable.

I’m so glad they love playing together! :)

She melts my heart.

Super-Emma.

I love the pure joy in this shot. It makes me so happy to see her like this.

He’s so funny. This was the “good morning” face I was greeted with a week or so ago.

Noah’s “I’m tired” signals. Pure cuteness.

Hugs.

Kisses.

In the playroom. Oh how I love that blue paint!

How can you say “no” to a face like that?

We had a playroom picnic a couple of days ago. I love moments like those. :)

Noah loved the peanut butter and jelly.

Emma was a much bigger fan of the Finding Nemo fruit snacks.

Noah enjoyed those too… and kept looking for more. :)

Later that day, Emma hit her head during Ring Around the Rosie, so we sat with some ice cubes on the steps. They thought it was pretty cool.

They may not have understood it completely, though… :)

After we were done “icing”, Emma gave me about a full 30 seconds of good camera time. I am in love with this series… it’s just so Emma.

Whenever I see Noah’s sweet face against the first sheet both he and Emma ever slept on, it really makes me see how grown up he is.

One of Emma’s bathing suits for this summer. She LOVES it and calls it her “stripes”. :)

Some of my favorite pieces of new clothes for Noah are his Woody/Buzz pajamas. Oh dear goodness he melts my heart.

I snapped this series while the kids were watching Up the other night. They love that movie almost as much as I do. :)
